NDOT Announces Launch of Trip Planner Pilot Project

Agencies in the northeast and panhandle regions of Nebraska are participating in a pilot project to help NDOT determine feasibility for an eventual statewide trip planner. Learn more about the project and how to use the trip planner via a quick video walk-through or by reading step-by-step instructions.

Open Plains Transit Reveals Rebrand and New Service

Panhandle Trails Intercity Public Transit recently rebranded to Open Plains Transit and began new service in Valentine, Nebraska. Read more about their ribbon cutting and new service.

LR51 Passed to Recognize KCTS

KCTS was recognized by Legislative Resolution 51 during the 108th Nebraska Legislature for addressing the growing need of community transportation in the panhandle region of Nebraska. Read the full resolution.

Title VI Resources

The Nebraska Public Transit team continues to work on updating all 5310 and 5311 Title VI plans across the state and reminds agencies how they can access all Title VI resources on the Nebraska Public Transit website.

Video Series to Create Awareness of Available Services

The University team is starting a new video series called Faces of Transit in Nebraska to celebrate the good work of transit agencies across the state and showcase how transit is available for everyone. The plan is to highlight a couple agencies in each region with feel-good stories about the agency, its employees, and passengers. Learn more about how you can particiate.
