Spring Clean Your Health!

The changing of the seasons is often a time of renewal. Spring cleaning is the time when people clean their homes from top to bottom. While getting rid of germs is definitely a much-needed chore, this year, look beyond disinfectants, sponges, and soap and give your health a Spring cleaning of its own. Here are some ways to give your life a healthy makeover for Spring!

  • Bring Your Workout Outdoors
There's something inspiring about getting your fitness on while breathing in the fresh air; now that temperatures are on the way up, head outdoors for your workouts. You'll find a sense of renewal once you break free from the sweaty gym and may even discover a passion for hiking, biking, or running.
  • Say Goodbye to Germs
There's no time like Spring to get cleanliness on the brain. A clean space can make us happier and more productive, but staying healthy and combating sickness is another reason to dust, scrub, and disinfect your home.
  • Turn Your Kitchen Into a Healthy Space
Give your kitchen a healthy makeover by getting rid of processed and unhealthy products and replacing them with whole, natural foods instead. Because let's face it, cleaning your kitchen isn't just about getting rid of dirt and grime.
  • Check In With Your Doc
If you haven't done so already, Spring is a great time to get your medical history checked out. Make an appointment with your ob-gyn, get checked out by your dentist and optometrist, and consider getting a physical. Taking measures early on may help prevent emergencies from happening later.
  • Give Your Body a Natural Detox
While many detox diets are calorie-deprivation diets in disguise, there are natural ways to cleanse the body. Exercise, cutting out alcohol and refined sugars, and eating a healthy diet does wonders. We can't think of a better time than Spring to start on this healthy track.

Spring inspires us to air out and clean up. Don’t be limited to tidying your environment. Take steps for cleaner living through better health!
