Wednesday, October 6th, 4:30-6:30pm

Kinder, 1st, 2nd and 3rd-Grade Families, join us for some bouncy, sliding fun! We'll have pizza and raffle prizes too! Please RSVP ASAP so we can order enough pizza.

Celebration Tomorrow at School

Congratulations to all the readers who read the summer for Book It Bobcats! Our students read a total of 18,424 hours and raised over $16,000 to support Bill Roberts!! That's a lot to celebrate! 

We would love a FEW MORE VOLUNTEERS to help.

School Garden Harvest

Our school garden is ready for harvest and we need your help! Students will be harvesting the garden in the mornings and volunteers are needed to help students pick foods to take home. Several dates are available.

National Walk to School Day

Wednesday, October 6th

Walk to School with fellow BR families and the Wellness Committee! We will meet at Puddle Jumper pool starting at 7am with a raffle, games and prizes. At 7:15am we’ll walk to school as a group. Parental supervision is required, thank you! We hope you and your family will join us!

DPS Free & Reduced Meal Application

The 2020-2021 Free & Reduced Meal Application is now available for DPS families!  We realize breakfast and lunch are “no charge” this year but it is essential that families fill out the F/R form as there are many resources that come with the program if you qualify. Please click below to complete.

8th Grade Trip Update and Parent Meeting

It looks like we will finally be able to do our 8th grade trip this spring! Currently it is scheduled for May 23rd-27th in San Diego. Use this GOOGLE MEETS LINK to join our parent information meeting.

AP Human Geography Opportunity for 8th Graders
We are launching our AP Human Geography Class with Maggie O’Toole and Pat Seeney. Our 8th grade students who opt in will culminate their learning with the AP test, along with the opportunity to earn high school and college credit. To learn more about this opportunity, we will meet immediately after the End of Year Trip Parent Information meeting on September 23rd.

Parent Support Committee Meeting
September 29th, 8:30-9:30am

All MS families are invited to join this initial meeting to discuss our role in supporting our students at school. Please see THIS LINK for information.

School Clubs are Starting
Student Council

The Student Council plans and organizes events for middle school students, completes a Service Project and acts as a liaison between students and Admin. The Student Council will consist of students from each grade 6-8. Members must complete an application. At least three students from each grade will be chosen, based on the eligibility requirements.
Meets: Most likely every other Friday right after school, but we will see when works best for everyone.
Gay Straight Alliance
Unite LGBTQ+ and allied youth to build community and organize around issues impacting them in their schools and communities
Meets: Every other Friday at 12:20 starting this Friday in Ms. Davis’ Room.
**Meeting will run past dismissal at 12:40 but if students need to leave to catch a bus, etc. they could leave early.**

Mystery Art Box with Mr. E & Ms. Schoneman

Virtual Art Classes with a Twist

The Mystery Art Box was created with the idea that small acts of kindness can change the world. Your children will have tons of fun with Mr. E and Ms. Schoneman during the two, live, virtual art classes held each month. Check out some of the prior shows at and let your children change the world with a smile! Our next classes are:
