UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2017 - public voting now open
Public voting for the UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2017 is now open, which provides an opportunity for consumers to select their favourite new outdoor products - please help to increase votes by directing your customers and contacts to the voting page.
Following the hugely successful 2016 event in Barcelona, the European Outdoor Group (EOG) has announced the line-up for the fifth annual European Outdoor Summit (EOS), which is to take place on 4th and 5th October 2017 in Treviso, Italy.
Hi-Tec was voted the Best Outdoor Brand of the Year by Go Outdoors customers earlier this month in the GO Outdoors Awards 2016 - other award winning members include Rab (Clothing Product of the Year), Scarpa (Footwear of the Year) and Montane (Rucksack of the Year).
Army Reserves Polar Expedition arrives at the end of epic 1,100 mile crossing of Antarctica
A team of five Army Reservists have reached the end of their 1,100-mile crossing of Antarctica, after 67 days on ice, making them the first military team in history to do so. The team, SPEAR17, is raising awareness and funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the national charity of the British Army.
