UK Outdoor Industry Awards - enter now!
The UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2018 are only open to entries for another 12 days - click hereto download the entry form. All entries will be on display at the Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) in July, where visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourites in each category before the finalists are announced at the after-show party on Wednesday 12th July.
The awards will also be judged by a prestigious panel of leading experts from the industry, including Lee Bagnall (JD Sports), Pete Cole (Outdoor & Cycle Concepts), Anthony Greasby (Countryside Ski & Climb) from retail, and Ben Weeks (Trail), Tom Hutton (OE Retailer), and Will Renwick (TGO) from the media.
There are now just six weeks left until the UK’s largest outdoor trade show begins. OTS 2017 will take place from Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th July 2017 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. Around 100 exhibitors have already booked with exhibition stand space still available.
We will be launching the OIA’s new website this summer and have an opportunity for our members to contribute to it - do you have any outdoor lifestyle images that you would like us to display on our new website (and possibly our promotional material)?
If so, please send them to email@example.com as soon as possible, confirming that there are no restrictions on the usage of the images. If your images aren’t heavily branded, you’re welcome to request that we credit accordingly.

These are all to be funded from membership fees and fundraising monies raised from the European outdoor Industry.
Outdoor Recreation Network event
On Wednesday 28th June at Plas Menai, Outdoor Recreation Network (ORN) will host a conference entitled “Into the unknown: Managing our changing appetite for adventure”. Taking place 8th - 11th June, the high profile line-up will include Sir Chris Bonington, Nicky Spinks and Jasmin Paris, Alan Hinkes OBE and Terry Abraham, and Andy Beck.
