Shoe Fabric Winner The same designer who won our snow-fabric contest a few months ago -- Cean Irminger of Machipongo, Virginia -- this week becomes the second person to win two contests. Her whimsical "Whatever happened to my garden clog?" fabric is the footware-themed Fabric Of the Week. Congratulations, Cean! ![[image] Vote for musical instrument fabrics](http://gallery.mailchimp.com/dee209d512d07ce1c58bd6a4f/images/musical_390px.jpg) Musical Fabric - Vote For Your Favorites This week's theme is fabric designs that use musical instruments. The resulting batch of designs are really great! So choose your favorites from the 75 designers who entered. We'll announce the winner next week. TrueUp.net, a great blog about fabric, just published an interview with designer Laurie Wisbrun, who has a line of fabric coming out through Robert Kaufman this spring. Long-time followers of our contest may remember Laurie's "Birdies in Chairs," an early winner. We are thrilled at Laurie's success and flattered to have played a small role in helping her along the path to becoming a professional textile designer. Upcoming contest themes include a palette-restricted fifties theme, cocktails, and puppet patterns. You can find more information on the upcoming contests page of our blog. Thank you for participating in our community! Cheers, Stephen |
