Institute for Data Engineering and Science Hosts First Event
More than a hundred members of the local data science community gathered in the Klaus Bldg. this week to celebrate the launch of Georgia Tech's Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEaS). Executive Vice President of Research Stephen E. Cross provided welcoming remarks and discussed the importance and value of interdisciplinary research at Tech. • The Institute for Information Security & Privacy's Spring 2017 Demo Day Finale is set for April 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Klaus Bldg., Room 1116. Student teams will compete for $10,000 in cash prizes in this TED-style event. Registration is required.
