Hello Friend, thank you for praying. We cannot do what we do, and go where we go, without your prayers!

PRAY that our global workers will experience joy in the midst of any suffering they may face.

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down.
His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them. He said:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven,
for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Matthew 5:1-12

PRAY for the new Student Leaders chosen at Village of Hope Zimbabwe!

Every year the school at VOH Zimbabwe appoints new student leadership. This is a group of students that will make sure their peers are following the rules and behaving. They will also provide care and mentoring to the younger students. They are the eyes and ears of the teachers in the class and outside. The 2019 leaders were announced this week, and they are excited and ready to take on the responsibility and do a good job!

PRAY for Kathy. Not only did she break her arm recently, but she's also been quite ill for the past few days. She needs a healing touch from God. Kathryn serves as the director of Schools of Hope in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She also oversees ChildCARE Plus sponsorships and ERDO's in-school feeding programs and water projects.

PRAY for little Emerson. He is the newborn son of global workers, Kelvin and Laura Chan in Southeast Asia. Since birth he has struggled with severe breathing problems, has been hospitalized several times, rushed to emergency, hernia surgery, etc. He was recently taken back to the hospital for more percussions, suctioning and nebulization. He is hardly eating and sleeping. Emerson needs a healing!
