Hello Friend, thank you for praying. We cannot do what we do, and go where we go, without your prayers!
PRAYthat all of our Global Workers, whether full time, mid term, or short term would find Success in Gospel Witness; that there would be fruit from their labour.
“When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord." Acts 13:12
Mozambique, Malawi, Zimbabwe - Cyclone Idai
PRAYfor Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe as they try to recover from the utter devastation left behind by Cyclone Idai. Reports of hundreds of deaths; with hundreds of thousands missing and left homeless. All three of these countries are already economically challenged and with poor infrastructure, so a natural disaster is very difficult to recover from. Pray for our global workers and national pastors who are trying to help as best they can.
PRAYfor Murray Cornelius and his International Missions Lead Team as they spend a few days together looking to the future of global missions. Pray that the Holy Spirit will breathe into the room and bring wisdom, vision, clarity, excitement, strategy, etc.; all that is needed as we partner with God in His mission to redeem those who are lost.
PRAYfor Julie Wood as she heads into surgery here in Canada on Friday. Here is an update from her:
"After a long journey with chronic pain, I have now received notice of the date of my first hip replacement surgery. Friday, March 22, I will be going into the hospital to have my left hip replaced. The surgery will take several hours, but, surprisingly, I will be up walking again within 4 to 8 hours! How cool is that? I will be in hospital for about 2 days, and then sent home to recover. I will spend about 6 weeks walking with a walker or crutches and doing targeted muscle strengthening and flexibility exercises. Following that, upon approval by the surgeon, I will be able to walk with a cane, and eventually by myself. Full recovery is estimated to be about 3 months. At that point, we will be able to begin planning for my other hip to be replaced, potentially in late 2019, or early 2020. Please pray for me for strength, peace, and healing as I head into this challenging time. I have Faith that God has a plan, and that it is good. I know that He will sustain me, and bring me through. Thank you for your ongoing support, prayers, and encouraging words. Love and Hugs, Julie Wood"
