Ministry Symposium: "Fresh Heart, Fresh Hope"
Saturday 6 November

Our upcoming online symposium addresses key questions raised by those in ministry seeking fresh heart, and fresh hope:
* How do I keep going, when the going gets tough?
* So many ideas, but where do I start?
* How do we connect the dots across different groups and visions and approaches?

Our symposium theme echoes the prophet Isaiah (43:19),
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"

Participants will engage in a range of inputs with pathways and opportunities for creativity, shared wisdom and formation.

This significant opportunity is FREE for all registered members of Alive in the Spirit. New members who sign up for the symposium also receive access to our ministry resource and community hub until 31 December ($40 for individuals, $200 for 11 registrations).

Registration details coming soon. For now, please date claim Saturday 6 November, 10am to 3pm AEST.

Keep an eye on our website and next newsletter for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started with Alive in the Spirit?
After you register, our site can feel a little overwhelming. We suggest you experience the keynote speakers first, then ask yourself what is stirring in your heart. What is God's vision for yourself, or for your community? Articulating a vision offers you a way to access the workshops, prayer spaces and online community. They become ways in which you can bring your vision to life.

What happens to the site after December?
Many people want to offer a renewal experience in 2022, hopeful that their community will have emerged from the worst of the pandemic. We are currently exploring possibilities. Part of the challenge is the ongoing costs to maintain the website and the other consideration is honouring our commitment to our workshoppers to make the videos available to them after the end of the year. If you have any suggestions or ways of supporting this work, please contact us.

Visit our FAQ page - hopefully someone else has asked your question!

"Alive in the Spirit" enlivens my spirit.  It takes a community to bring a parish together.  The insight, knowledge and inspiration shared in this space has the potential to help many parishes and ministries.
