Are You CEU Compliant?
ASID mandates that all practitioner members—Professional, Allied, and Associate—earn a minimum of 1.0 (10 hours) approved continuing education units (CEUs) every two years. The current reporting period will end on December 31, 2015,
and ASID strongly encourages members to meet the year-end CEU requirements to maintain active membership status.
Practitioner members can satisfy CEU requirements with ASID Academy
, the convenient online learning management system for continuing education and professional development. ASID Academy features over 30 accredited courses within such topics as: sustainability, health and wellness, leadership, impact of design, practice of design, and business of design.
Curated courses within ASID Academy offer credits to fulfill CEU requirements. Available from anywhere with an Internet connection, the course catalog allows users to earn CEUs on their own time, and gain insightful knowledge to implement immediately. Discounted pricing is available for ASID members, and all courses taken and passed by members will be automatically reported to IDCEC.
