Thank you to this week's Silver Sponsor:
Earn CEU credits online, anywhere with ASID Academy
ASID Academy premiered in July 2015 as the comprehensive resource for continuing education and CEU credit fulfillment. ASID Academy supports the Society’s commitment to online learning and professional development through CEU course offerings, papers, and videos made available to members and designers online, anytime.
ASID Academy features a curated, peer-reviewed course catalog with CEU courses focusing on our four key themes that cross-cut all practice areas of interior design: Impact of Design, Leadership Development, Practice of Design, and Business of Design. The catalog further reinforces the Society’s commitment to continuing education, and supports the new December 31, 2015 CEU requirement.

• Nancy Mladenoff, Artist, and Professor of Painting and Drawing at UW
• Sean Mullen, VP and Creative Director, Hiebing
Issues of identity are central to art and business. Both grapple with determining and distilling what is distinctive and important, then translating that visually. In business these issues arise in considerations about brand, while artists have long explored issues of self and individuality. In their conversation, Mladenoff and Mullen will discuss topics such as collective interpretations of visual cues, the challenges of developing a distinctive visual identity, and creating visual communications with meaning.
The talk will be followed by a networking reception, complimentary hors d'ouevres, and a cash bar.
