Design Communities are meetings/events held in different regions of Wisconsin that allow members the opportunity to be involved in our chapter at a local level.  Each region will offer a variety of events including educational, social, project tours, volunteer opportunities  and showroom visits.

Wisconsin Student Interior Design Career Day

This all-day event brings Interior Design students together from all over the state to gain insight and information on their career path. As always, we encourage participation from ASID professional members to provide students opportunities to network in a formal and informal way throughout the event. There will also be a CEU. Mark your calendar and watch for details.

Would you or someone you know be a great leader of the Wisconsin Chapter?  If so, I would love to hear from you!  Our nominating committee will be meeting in mid January to put together a slate for the 2015-2016 Board of Directors.  We are looking for the following candidates:

  • Communications Director
 All of these positions are 2 year terms except for President Elect which is a 3 year term.  The President Elect for 2015-2016 will serve as the Chapter President for the 2016-2017 board year and Past President in 2017-2018.  Descriptions of these positions can be found on our website.

Work with clients to design or renovate spaces to meet their standards.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Cultivate in-store traffic into in-home appointments.

Wanted: Part-time Freelance [that could turn into part time or full time employment] AutoCAD draftsperson, SketchUp artist, and production support person for retail-based interior design firm.
