Disappointment in the Highest Court;
Reacting to the SCOTUS Decision
Immigrant communities faced great disappointment on June 23rd as the Supreme Court announced a 4-4 split decision on the DACA+ and DAPA programs.  This verdict, which leaves in place the Fifth Circuit Court’s injunction against the executive action, affects thousands within our community and millions more across our country.  MinKwon expressed deep disappointment and criticism around the decision in a press release issued earlier this month, and rallied alongside New York City’s immigrant communities at Foley Square on June 24th.

As the MinKwon Center enters a new chapter in leadership, we remain steadfast in our mission to seek justice for immigrants.  MinKwon will continue to fight for comprehensive immigration reform for the betterment of our communities and the future of the United States.
