COVID-19 Update

On behalf of the Harvest team we wish to extend best wishes to all of our customers, suppliers and resellers. The COVID-19 pandemic is demonstrating the need for resilience and care for those around us.

An update on our current state of operations:
Here at head office we have 36 staff and another 2 staff in remote locations. As of the end of tomorrow all of our staff will be working remotely. For our Tech Support, Sales, Admin, Accounts, Software Developers, IT, R&D and Hardware Developers it will be work as (un)usual. Our production (manufacturing, repairs/RMA and inventory/purchasing) team are however unable to work remotely. We are currently working to ensure all outstanding orders are dispatched by the end of Tuesday 24th March. From this point on we hope you understand that we are in the position of having limited ability to dispatch parts or deal with repairs and we need to hit the pause button on any new orders. Likewise, our field work techs based in Masterton, Marlborough and Canterbury will only be available for crucial call-outs as we are committed to ensuring safe working conditions as well as complying with government requirements.

As a company we are well placed to continue to deliver service to our customers and deal with the COVID-19 crisis. Nearly all critical roles able to be covered by multiple team members – eg Tech Support have 9 team members. We appreciate the support our customers and resellers have shown us so far.

Finally, we would like to point toward the #1 recommendation from the government in regards to uniting against COVID-19:
Be Kind

Kindness is an incredibly powerful way to show you are united against COVID-19.

You can make a huge difference by:

  • Checking-in on any elderly or vulnerable people
  • Looking after anyone that needs help
  • Dropping supplies to those at home sick
  • Talking to friends, whānau and neighbours to see if they need support
  • Connecting with and supporting local clubs and societies.
These kinds of connections and offers of help will go a long way to getting others through COVID-19.
