Summary: Are our communities ready to support an aging population? The Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program and the Alzheimer Society of Ontario along with a diverse group of community partners are developing an online age friendly community toolkit.  In this session we will describe the toolkit’s five guiding principles and three building blocks that form the basis for an age friendly community. We will then discuss ways that this toolkit can help communities identify strengths and areas for improvement in building communities that ensure older adults can continue to engage in meaningful ways throughout their lives.
