Making the Connection in Practice
This session will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss their own role in providing psychosocial support to caregivers of persons with dementia. How is evidence about best practices incorporated into service? What more can be done to further advance the effectiveness of the counselling and support services provided? We will also look at how professionals in this role can continue to connect with and support one another in the advancement of the practice of supporting family caregivers of persons with dementia.
