...and just like that, it was November!

Hello and welcome! We have many new subscribers and I humbly thank you for allowing me to grace your inbox once a month.  If you have landed here looking for the winner of the "Wings" giveaway it is indeed in this edition.

October was an incredibly busy month so I feel like I got teleported to November from September! I was able to make our annual trip to Rhinebeck, NY for the NYS Sheep & Wool Festival last month, and I just finished scouring and dyeing 2 bags of cormo fleece (a breed achieved by crossing corriedale rams and superfine merino ewes) one of 4 different fleeces I picked up this year.

Things are picking up with the holidays quickly approaching, so I can't spend all my time in fiber arts land. Back to the orders - and the giveaways! Let's get into it and see who won this month, shall we?

à bientôt,

WHAT'S NEW

The BRIDGET earrings are back and just in time for holiday parties. Now available in several different colors as well as sterling silver or 14kt gold filled leverbacks, these sparklies get their name from their original recipient.

12 colors currently available (the birthstone Swarovski crystals colors I always have on hand) but you can request other colors for your event or special occasion.

From The Blog

That's me (au naturel!) with a freshly dyed/fulled/dried skein of yarn around my neck. Why? Because I think alone it would make a pretty cool scarf! This was my first attempt at a tailspun looking yarn, that really shows off the mohair locks. I really like the result and am in the process of making more. It is a labor-intensive yarn but think of the possibilities for trim alone. It wouldn't take much of it to really make a knitted or crocheted design extra special. For my fiber loving readers, you can see more in this blog post...

October Newsletter Giveaway

CONGRATULATIONS

CARLA N.
of Merritt Island, FL!

Carla chose the Owl Necklace and she is also a new subscriber (WELCOME!).

I will get your necklace made and shipped out to you shortly, Carla. Thanks for entering!

As some of you know, I ran a special giveaway on October 25th in memory of my mother who passed 6 years ago that day. To find out the winner of that drawing, and to also see the newest giveaway, read below...

Order Now for the Holidays

If you are thinking of ordering something for the holidays, it's not too early to get that item off your list. Canada Post tends to get inundated during this period and therefore does not stick to their usual delivery guarantees. So whether you are ordering from me or elsewhere, my advice is to do it soon. Don't end up giving a picture of the product you ordered as an I.O.U, like some of my customers had to do last year. ;)

"Wings" Necklace Winner & November Giveaway

On October 25th I ran a giveaway via my blog and social media for my "Wings" necklace to honor the passing of my mother 6th years ago.

CONGRATULATIONS Mindy!

A heartfelt thanks to all that entered.
