We are in the height of summer fun here in greater Montreal. I've been taking advantage of the sun & heat to do mega fleece washing: it dries so fast outside this time of year. Merino from Maine is just finishing the drying process, and leicester longwool from the New Hampshire wool show are in various stages of cleaning. These fleeces are polar opposites in structure & I cannot wait to dye and spin both. I've also started freshening up the graphics online. For some reason all the outdoor time is doing wonders in that department! What do you think of my new header for the bb3 project?
One thing I miss about living most of the time in Québec is the beach. This pic was taken while we were in Nova Scotia in June. It was totally unintentional to drench my (new) LL Bean (outlet) shoes in the Bay of Fundy...the darn tide caught up to me trying to get a cool feet-near-shoreline pic! I wanted to share it because it is one of my favorite memories from this visit. I can feel that cold (refreshing) salt water on my feet just looking at it, and this time of year I think many of us in the Northern hemisphere could use a bit of cooling off. It is also a reminder that life is full of happy accidents, we just have to be willing to "go there". ;) Per usual, thanks for reading!
Until next month...
