Back in the Saddle

The annual Texas Music Educators Association Convention is happening February 9-11 in San Antonio. Last time we were there was just prior to the world shutting down for the pandemic, so we're eager to return and see everyone! We will be posted up in Booth 1168 (across the aisle from Pender's).

Texas All-State 5A Percussion Ensemble

Mark your calendars for the Texas All-State 5A Percussion Ensemble conducted by James Campbell! The ensemble will be performing a few Tapspace publications including Fuerza Negra (Francisco Perez) and Mayhem (Daniel Montoya Jr.) at the showcase concert on Saturday, February 11th, at 11:00 a.m. in Lila Cockrell Theatre. Be sure to check it out!

Tapspace UIL List

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) regularly updates its prescribed music list (PML) for percussion solo and ensemble music. Over 400 titles from the Tapspace catalog appear on this list, and we're proud to help support the high standards of music education in Texas!

Two Ways to Get Extra Scores Extra Fast

You and your students have been working tirelessly for the upcoming solo/ensemble event when you realize that you don't have enough copies of the scores for the judges. Great, another thing to figure out!
