Youth Babysitter Class - April 9th
Students will learn the fundamentals of childcare (feeding/diapering/etc..), child safety (choking emergencies/home hazards/etc...), and learn Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED!
This is a great class to build confidence as pre-teens and teens enter the exciting world of babysitting or if they are starting to stay home alone for the first time.
The class is taught by using an assortment of relevant videos, hands-on skill learning sessions, and games. Enrolled students will receive: A 30-page digital babysitting course book prior to the start of class, a babysitting class completion certificate, an American Heart Association "Friends and Family" participation certificate, and an AHA 80-page Friends and Family student manual.
Students will need to bring a lunch/beverage on the day of the class. The instructor is certified through the American Heart Association.
