Absentee Ballot Changes - NO DROP BOXES

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled that ballot drop boxes are NOT PERMITTED for use in the April election. DO NOT place your Absentee Ballot in any drop box located at any Village of Bellevue facility. These drop boxes are for utility bill/property tax bill 1st payments at 2828 Allouez Avenue or court fine payments at 3100 Eaton Road ONLY.

In addition, an elector must personally deliver his/her own absentee ballot. You may no longer return a ballot for another individual, even if that individual lives within your household (i.e. spouse, child).

To ensure your vote is counted, please follow these directions. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact the Village of Bellevue directly.

Volunteers Wanted to Help Guide the Future of Bellevue - COMP PLAN Update

The Village of Bellevue is updating its Comprehensive Plan and is looking for residents within the community who have an interest in housing, land use, transportation, economic development, the environment and other topics affecting the future of the Village.  These individuals would be part of an ad hoc committee that will be involved in all comprehensive planning sessions.  The committee will consist of several representatives from our boards and commissions, as well as members of the general public.   The Comprehensive Plan Update process is a chance for the community to get together and talk about the Village.  What do we like about Bellevue? What might we like to change?  Where do we want to be in the future?

The Comprehensive Plan was last updated in 2012 and while the Village does not anticipate this to be a significant update, this plan is an important document, guiding decisions on land use and growth management.  It provides a vision for the Village’s future and policies that direct both public and private decisions on such matters as land use, transportation, economic development, housing, and the environment.

If you would like to get involved in the comprehensive planning process, please contact Michelle Du Chateau or Andrew Vissers.
