New lab helps students slay math

A second Mastery Math Lab has opened its doors this fall to serve more than 2,000 students enrolled in university core curriculum math courses outside of the calculus track. <Read>

Is your student's 2017-2018 FAFSA updated?
Effective Oct. 1, 2016, your student will now be able to file a FAFSA as early as Oct. 1 annually, as opposed to Jan. 1. Your student will also be allowed to use earlier income information from one tax year earlier – the “prior-prior” year. This means that for 2017-2018, FAFSA will collect 2015 income information. <More>

Homecoming isn't just for students

On Saturday, October 22, begin your Homecoming celebrations with other parents and students at the Parent and Family Day brunch. Along with a first-class brunch buffet, you'll get to meet FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg and take home lots of free FIU goodies. Current FIU students and children 10 and under are free.
