February 5th & 6th: Camp Monroe Reenactment, 1837
Our outdoor commemoration of the battle which began settlement of Lake Monroe takes place February 5th and 6th, 2021.
Tour the camps of soldiers and Seminoles, talk to our living historians, and learn why they fought over the rivers, swamps, and savannahs of Florida in the longest and most costly “Indian War” in US History! Black powder musket firings daily at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm, with other demonstrations throughout the day.
Cost is General Museum Admission. For the safety of our participants and guests, there will be cordons to maintain safe distances in the demonstration areas, and masks will be required indoors.

Come join us at the brand NEW! Kaleidoscope Artisans Market at the almost new Henry's Depot in Sanford!
We will be outside on the lawn next to Henry's offering original art, hand made items and gifts from a limited group of vendors.
Henry's will be serving Brunch on a beautiful Sunday, featuring special brunch offerings and cocktails.

The Love Your Shorts Film Festival brings the best of cinematic short films to Sanford! Now in its 11th year!
The Love Your Shorts Film Festival is a film festival held in Sanford, Florida, around Valentine's Day. The Festival screens only short films under 30 minutes in length. Films are divided into different blocks for screening.

February 20th: 7th Annual Sanford Mardi Street Party
Grab your beads and come enjoy the Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party in the 'Famous L' between Celery City Craft and West End Trading Co. in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford!
The parade starts on 6th Street and Sanford Avenue! Gathering starts at 330pm and then at 4pm Sashay your way down Sanford Avenue all the way down to West End Trading Co.!
There will be food trucks, live music and tons of craft beer & cocktails to be had!

The Sanford Mini Indie Series will have rotating Vendors the following dates 2/28. 3/28.4/25. We will be located inside the Courtyard and in the beautiful new Air Conditioned back space of Tuffy's Bottle Shop & Lounge. We will be following CDC guidelines. We will be practicing Social Distancing and ask that everyone mask up while walking around the Market.

Street Party Dates for 2021: Alive After 5
Hosted by the Historic Sanford Welcome Center, Alive After 5 is Sanford's monthly street festival taking place on the second Thursday of every month from 5-8PM. AA5 is Central Florida's largest recurring monthly street party with live music, local artists, food and craft beers in a beautiful historic town.
Enjoy: Great local restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, antique stores, nightlife and a variety of other unique businesses !
