The Love Your Shorts Film Festival brings the best of cinematic short films to Sanford! Now in its 11th year!
The Love Your Shorts Film Festival is a film festival held in Sanford, Florida, around Valentine's Day. The Festival screens only short films under 30 minutes in length. Films are divided into different blocks for screening.

February 13th: Galentine's Day Wine & Cupcake Brunch Tasting & Pairing
Its that time of the year again! Bring your girlfriends and join us for a fun event to celebrate friendship and good wine. We will be offering 4 wines perfectly paired with 4 cupcakes offered by Small Cupcakes along with a wonderful sparkling wine as a reception to get the party started. You can start the day with your girlfriends and then move to your date night or keep the party going on beautiful downtown Sanford.

Although Fasching (the “Fifth Season”) officially gets started on November 11, the serious Pre-Lenten festivities in Germany don’t really begin until the ladies take over on 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐭 ("Women's Mardi Gras"), the Thursday before Ash Wednesday..
Frauen with scissors will be in charge Thursday night 2/11/21 at the Willow Tree, so Männer, be on your best behavior - and don't wear a tie that you want to keep! Karneval costumes encouraged but not necessary. Jimmy and Eckhard: Live Traditional German Music from 6-9 as usual. Kölle Alaaf! Helau!

February 20th: 7th Annual Sanford Mardi Street Party
Grab your beads and come enjoy the Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party in the 'Famous L' between Celery City Craft and West End Trading Co. in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford!
The parade starts on 6th Street and Sanford Avenue! Gathering starts at 330pm and then at 4pm Sashay your way down Sanford Avenue all the way down to West End Trading Co.!
There will be food trucks, live music and tons of craft beer & cocktails to be had!

March 27th: 9th Annual Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival
Join us for the 9th Annual Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford (in the 'Famous L' between West End Trading Co. and Celery City Craft).
Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Fest is a craft beer festival that you bring your dog to. Sample craft beer from dozens of breweries, interact with other dog lovers, and most importantly help raise funds for local pet do-gooders Dolly's Foundation and Pet Rescue by Judy!

Street Party Dates for 2021: Alive After 5
Hosted by the Historic Sanford Welcome Center, Alive After 5 is Sanford's monthly street festival taking place on the second Thursday of every month from 5-8PM. AA5 is Central Florida's largest recurring monthly street party with live music, local artists, food and craft beers in a beautiful historic town.
