Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on...

March 19th: March Sanford Shuffle tournament

Do you Shuffle? Join us Friday, March 19 for some old-school Shuffleboard.
The courts open at 6:30 p.m. and the single-elimination tournament starts at 7 p.m. If you just want to have some fun, or you want to learn how to play, we’ll also have courts available for those who like to shuffle a little more casually.

The cost for The Sanford Shuffle is $5 per person.
Coolers are allowed! Bring your favorite adult beverage (NO glass, please), enjoy some great music and socialize with your friends and neighbors.

Immediately following the end of tournament play, we encourage everyone to head to The Sullivan where the winning team will be presented trophies and a $25 bar tab (must be used at the bar that same evening)...

The Fresh Stop Bus will be in Sanford Thursday, 3/18 from 1pm-2pm at 1600 5th Avenue SW Sanford. Fresh stop is a mobile farmers market on wheels. The bus travels through Central Florida neighborhoods offering fresh fruit and vegetables at budget friendly prices. Click HERE for more deets.

March 27th: 9th Annual Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival

Join us for the 9th Annual Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford (in the 'Famous L' between West End Trading Co. and Celery City Craft).
Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Fest is a craft beer festival that you bring your dog to. Sample craft beer from dozens of breweries, interact with other dog lovers, and most importantly help raise funds for local pet do-gooders Dolly's Foundation and Pet Rescue by Judy!

April 3rd: Hippity Hop Adventure

The Central Florida Zoo’s favorite springtime event has returned: Hippity Hop Adventure presented by VyStar Credit Union! This springtime celebration will take place on April 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and feature a day full of family fun. Guests will have the chance collect eggs along the Egg Trail, do crafts and play games. There will even be a special appearance from the Easter Bunny himself! This event will feature music at the Wharton-Smith Tropical splash ground, an inflatable obstacle course and more! This is one springtime family event you don’t want to miss. Feb. 28th/March 28th/April 25th: Spring Mini Indie Series

The Sanford Mini Indie Series will have rotating Vendors the following dates 2/28. 3/28.4/25. We will be located inside the Courtyard and in the beautiful new Air Conditioned back space of Tuffy's Bottle Shop & Lounge. We will be following CDC guidelines. We will be practicing Social Distancing and ask that everyone mask up while walking around the Market.

April 24th: The Prince Experience Tribute with Friends

Come celebrate the life and legacy of two musical geniuses, PRINCE and MICHAEL JACKSON. We're also pleased to bring you a living legend tribute to her majesty "LADY GAGA".
This tribute show will certainly be one for the ages and an unforgettable night to remember. You will be immersed into a treasure trove of song and dance. Your musical senses will teased with rhythmic sensuality and more.

May 1st & 2nd: 10th Annual St. Johns River Festival of the Arts

Please join us on Saturday May 1st from 10am-6pm and Sunday May 2nd, 2021 from 10am-5pm on the beautiful brick streets of Historic Downtown Sanford, FL for the 9th Annual St. Johns River Festival of the Arts!
This is a Fine Arts & Fine Crafts event filled with artwork from some of the best artists across the country! See Art-in-Action from live artist demonstrations. Create your own piece of artwork at workshops scheduled during the weekend.
Enjoy gourmet tastes at our 'Culinary Arts Court' while you listen to the sounds of acoustic performers.
Aligned with our theme of "Art-in-Action", we will have talented chalk artists adding more color to the streets of Historic Downtown Sanford...

Street Party Dates for 2021: Alive After 5

Hosted by the Historic Sanford Welcome Center, Alive After 5 is Sanford's monthly street festival taking place on the second Thursday of every month from 5-8PM. AA5 is Central Florida's largest recurring monthly street party with live music, local artists, food and craft beers in a beautiful historic town.

Enjoy: Great local restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, antique stores, nightlife and a variety of other unique businesses !
