December 11th-20th: "Light Up Sanford" (Holiday Tour of Homes COVID-19 Edition)
We are excited to present “Light Up Sanford” in lieu of the traditional Sanford Holiday Tour of Homes. The Sanford Historic Trust has proudly partnered with The City of Sanford to bring neighbors and neighborhoods together in a fun, Covid friendly, socially distanced holiday tradition. Residents of Sanford will decorate the exterior of their homes for a chance to win a $500 prize! Hop in your car, jump on a bike, grab the golf cart, or stroll the neighborhoods for this self-guided tour. We can't wait to see our community back in action and Sanfording safely! December 12th: Santa at the Zoo
It’s the most wonderfully wild time of the year! Visit the Zoo, and safely see Santa too! Activities include:
Socially distanced Photo Op with Santa:
Wayne M. Densch Discovery Center
10 AM - 12 PM & 12:30 PM - 2 PM
*Masks are required for all aged 3 and up
Letter to Santa:
Bring your Christmas list and drop it in Santa’s mailbox!
Candy Cane Hunt:
Guests can stop by the Discovery Center and grab a “Candy Cane Hunt” card that includes clues on where to find the candy canes throughout the Zoo. Guests are given clues to where Candy Canes are hiding. Once all the candy canes have been found, you must unscramble the letters to discover the code word. Show the correct code word for a special treat!
Activities are subject to change. This event is included with your purchase of single-day admission or Zoo annual pass. See you there!

December 13th: Russian Ballet Orlando presents The Nutcracker
Join the talented dancers of Russian Ballet as they present the classic story of The Nutcracker in collaboration with Orlando Children’s Choir. Clara, Drosselmeyer, and the Mouse King come to life in this holiday favorite. Spectacular dancing, singing and beautiful costumes will transport you to the Land of the Sweets and bring this holiday classic to life. Set to the rich, melodic score by Pyotr Tchaikowsky, this traditional ballet will bring life and warmth to your holiday season.

December 13th: Disney's Frozen High Tea & Champagne Party
Do you want to build a snowman?!
We are all super fans of Frozen and what better way to celebrate Christmas with your little ones (or just your friends... trust me... we would!) with a grand Royal High Tea & Champagne Party!

We are so excited to announce the Sanford Mini Indie series which will be held in the Courtyard and newly renovated Event Space of Tuffy's Bottle Shop. We will be hosting weekly events with 25 rotating Vendors. We will begin the last Sunday in November and run through Christmas. We are not accepting new Vendors at this time. We will be following the CDC guidelines which are already being implementing at Tuffy's. We can't wait to see you all!

December 31st: New Year's Eve at Hollerbach's - Silvester 2020!
Join us for 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 at the Willow Tree! Our New Year's Eve activities begin at 5 pm and will include:
- Jimmy and Eckhard: Live Traditional German Music 5 pm - 8 pm
- Theos Linsensuppe (homemade Lentil soup - a NYE/New Year's Day tradition in Germany, Italy and elsewhere)
- COUNTDOWN to midnight on German time, with a live TV feed to the midnight festivities in Deutschland! just before 6 p.m.
And - never to be missed on a German New Year's Eve - we will be playing the classic British television comedy sketch "Dinner for One," a beloved tradition on New Year's Eve in Germany since it was first filmed (in English with German subtitles) especially for the German television audience in 1963.
