Program Develops Ministers’ Entrepreneurial Skills
Beyond the Call: Entrepreneurial Ministry
is a professional development program sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Association for ministers who want to launch new or innovative ventures in ministry. Four spaces are reserved for UCC clergy. The program involves attendance at four retreats on the mainland over a two-year period. Application
deadline is October 5, 2014, and the program begins in January 2015.
O'ahu Association Offers Polity Course
The O'ahu Association offers a series of courses on UCC polity and history for those seeking UCC ministerial standing. The next session, “Theology of the United Church of Christ,” will be held at Church of the Crossroads on Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to noon.
