Easter Sunrise Service Features Central Union Pastor
Brandon Duran, Associate Pastor of Central Union Church, will be the preacher at the Easter Sunrise Service at Punchbowl, Sunday, April 16, starting at 6:15 a.m. (gate opens at 4:30 a.m.). This annual ecumenical service, now in its 116th year, is sponsored by the Hawai'i Council of Churches, which includes the Hawai'i Conference UCC.

Symposium Examines Ali'i Letters
“Letters From the Ali'i: Process and Product
” is a symposium discussing the work of scholars and students who translated the letters of 39 different ali'i, or high ranking Hawaiians. Many of these letters, written between 1823 and 1887, are part of the Hawaiian Evangelical Association (now Hawai'i Conference) collection in the Mission Houses Museum and Library. The symposium will be held February 21, 7-9 p.m., at Ululani Hale at the Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus (1887 Makuakane Street, Honolulu).
Lili'uokalani Church Holds Kalua Pig Fundraiser
