Cornerstone Fund Offers New Loan Feature
The United Church of Christ Cornerstone Fund, which offers church building loans, has announced that it will now pay up to $1,500 in closing costs
on all loans with the exception of revolving lines-of-credit. These costs are specifically to cover all or a portion of the mortgage/deed of trust recording fees and the cost of a mortgagee title insurance policy.
Prepare for Emergencies at Church
FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) has developed a resource to assist churches in planning for, preventing, protecting against, mitigating the impact of and recovering from emergencies. "Guide for Developing High Quality Emergency Operation Plans for Houses of Worship"
walks congregations through different emergency scenarios to create a course of action for each and emphasizes planning that involves community partners such as local law enforcement, fire officials, and emergency medical services.

In Memory: Dee McNabb (Correction)
Retired minister Doris Jean “Dee” McNabb
