Suicide Prevention and Healing After Conference
Prevent Suicide Hawaii is sponsoring a “Healing After” conference
for suicide survivors, advocates, educators, policymakers and health professionals. The conference, which will increase awareness of suicide and provide skills to respond to those at risk, will be held on Wednesday, November 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Koolau Ballrooms in Kaneohe. Scholarships are available for youth and neighbor island participants.
In Memory: Tyrone Reinhardt
Retired minister Tyrone Reinhardt died September 27 at the age of 72. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, at Imiola Congregational Church (Waimea, Hawai'i Island). Visitation at 10 a.m. with service to follow at 11 a.m. Committal Service will be held on Maui the following day, November 10, 11:30 a.m., at the Kwong Fook Tong Chinese Cemetery on Kahekili Highway in Wailuku.
