Kaua'i Church Recognized As Open and Affirming
Hanapepe United Church of Christ was recognized as the latest UCC congregation to become Open and Affirming
. Since 1985, 1,215 congregations have declared themselves open to and affirming of persons who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

In Memory: David Sandberg
David Sandberg, who served as an interim minister for several churches in Hawai'i, died September 10 at the age of 75. Ordained in 1965, Dave pastored churches in several states, as well as, in Hawai'i, Po'okela, Koloa Union, Crossroads, and Windward UCC.
