Kaua'i Churches Join for Lent Service

Churches of the Kaua'i Association will hold a Lenten Worship Service this Sunday, March 10, 5 p.m. at Lihue Christian Church (2943 Kress Street, Lihue). A joint choir for the service will gather at 4:30 for rehearsal.  For information call the Lihue Christian Church office at 808-245-2348.

Deadline Approaches for 'Aha Resolutions

Deadline to submit resolutions for the upcoming 'Aha Pae'aina is March 15.  For more about resolutions, including instructions on their form and submission, click HERE.

Missionary Intern Visits Hawai'i

UCC/Disciples missionary intern Kristine Tisinger will visit the Hawai'i Conference from June 1 to July 10 to speak about her work in Johannesburg, South Africa. Sundays are already scheduled, but she can visit all other days and times of the week. Friend Peace Scholarship Deadline Approaches

Applications for the Richards Friend Peace Scholarship are being received through April 30 for scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year. Funded through an endowment begun by Theodore and Mary Atherton Richards, the scholarship provides assistance for students from Pacific Basin region countries studying in the U.S., or U.S. students studying in a Pacific Basin country. FACE Holds Equity Summit

Faith Action for Community Equity (FACE) will hold its third annual Equity Summit on Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa School of Business. For information and to register, click HERE.

Kokokahi Member Pens Book

Waimea Williams, member of Kokokahi UCC, is the author of Aloha, Mozart. A book launch will be held this Sunday, March 10, 4 p.m. at Na Mea Hawaii at Ward Warehouse on O'ahu. Click HERE for more information.
