UCC Leaders Respond to Ferguson and New York Events
Conference and national staff persons, gathered last week in Savannah, Georgia, issued a letter to the church
addressing the deaths of civilians at the hands of police in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York City. With the letter is a litany for churches to consider using during Advent services.
Conference Foundation Partners with Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy will conserve, manage and interpret a 922-acre property north of Hilo off the Saddle Road owned by the Hawai'i Conference Foundation. A ceremony of blessing

Waiokeola Moves Service for Marathon
Due to the Honolulu Marathon, which passes directly in front of the church, Waiokeola Congregational Church (4705 Kilauea Avenue, Honolulu) will not hold morning worship on Sunday, December 14. Instead, the congregation will gather for a Family Advent Celebration on Saturday, December 13, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
