Typhoon Bopha Strikes Philippines

Typhoon Bopha, which struck the Philippines on December 4 and killed more than a thousand people, was the most powerful cyclone in the country’s history.  The United Church of Christ sent an initial One Great Hour of Sharing grant on December 6 to provide immediate aid to victims. The UCC is now working with its partner, the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, to offer continuing relief to countless people in need.
