Register Today for ONA Workshop
Mike Schuenemeyer, UCC Minister for Health and Wholeness Advocacy, will lead a workshop for churches wanting to learn about the Open and Affirming (ONA) process. The workshop
will be held on Saturday, March 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Conference Office. ONA is a way for churches to declare their welcome and inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons into the full life of the church. Cost is $10 for lunch. The deadline to register is next Tuesday, February 25.

Women Share Reflections on Prison and Freedom
Former inmates of the Women’s Community Correctional Center will share original reflections on prison life, freedom and the challenges of transformation. “Voices from the Inside,”
sponsored in part by the Pu'a Foundation, features alumnae of the Prison Writing Project. The event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the William S. Richardson School of Law building at the University of Hawai'i.
