Eleven delegates and two associate delegates will be representing the Hawai'i Conference at this biennial gathering of the United Church of Christ. New Courses on Learning Opportunities Page
Creating Sacred Space
is an on-line workshop on using and enhancing the worship space in creative ways. The workshop will be streamed live on October 27 at 5 a.m. (HST) from the Amistad Chapel at the UCC offices in Cleveland. It will also be recorded for later viewing. Justice News Moves to Social Media
News and events related to peace and justice will no longer appear in monthly newsletters. Instead, they will be posted immediately on Twitter (@HCUCC) and Facebook (HCUCC Hawaii) and through special email blasts (beginning in July). Posts and links can be downloaded and copied to church bulletins and newsletters.
Church Hosts Art Exhibit
“Joy With Gratitude”
is a free exhibit of artwork by members of UCC—Judd Street taking place at the church (467 N. Judd Street, Honolulu) on July 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the exhibit, enjoy “Tea at Judd Street,” a fundraiser for its youth attending the UCC National Youth Event in 2016.
