'Aha Delegates to Ratify Changes to UCC Constitution

At General Synod 28 in July 2011, delegates approved amendments to the United Church of Christ Constitution and Bylaws. In order for the constitutional amendments to take effect, at least two-thirds of the 38 Conferences must ratify the changes before the next General Synod in 2013. The vote to ratify these amendments will be an agenda item at the 'Aha Pae'aina in June 2012. A memorandum explaining the amendments and the procedures leading up to the 'Aha was mailed to churches and ministers this week. Click HERE to read the memo. For additional resources click HERE.
