Don’t Miss “Hawaiian Christmas” on TV
“A Hawaiian Christmas,” a one-hour television special created by Ken Makuakane and produced by the Hawai'i Conference, will air on television on Saturday, December 1, 8 p.m., on KITV. The show, which features local musicians performing at Kaumakapili Church, will also appear nationally on NBC stations on Christmas Day (times vary by location).
Nominate a Peacemaker
Nominate a peacemaker for Church of the Crossroads’ 2013 Peacemaker Award. The award, presented each year at the church’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr., service and celebration, recognizes a person who has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to peace and justice issues in the community. Click HERE

Britt Lecture Dates and Speaker Announced
The Annual Britt Lectures, sponsored by the Hawai'i District of the United Methodist Church, will take place February 15-18, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Honolulu. Lecturing will be Anna Carter Florence, the Peter Marshall Associate Professor of Preaching at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
Nanakuli Pastor to Be Installed
The O'ahu Association will install Iese Tuuao as Pastor and Teacher of Samoan Church of Hawai'i LMS on Sunday, December 2, 4 p.m., at the church located at 87-140 Kahau Street in Nanakuli.

The Hawai'i Island Association will hold its next 'Aha Mokupuni on Saturday, January 19, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Church of the Holy Cross (440 West Lanikaula Street, Hilo). The agenda includes UCC Insurance Board agent David Takagi speaking about church insurance matters.
Tuck Wah Lee
, 93, died on Thanksgiving morning, November 22. He was a former missionary to Micronesia and was a minister at Central Union, Kalaiakamanu Hou, Kawaiaha'o, Waianae Protestant, and Imiola Churches. Services are to be scheduled.
, 86, died on November 24 in Lind, Washington. He served churches on Hawai'i Island, including Kauaha'ao, from 1954 to 1957. Service will be held on Saturday, December 1, in Washington. Condolences may be sent to his wife, Myrtle, at P.O. Box 582, Lind, WA 99341.
