Immigrant Rights Workshop
A free informational workshop on President Obama’s Deferred Action Program is scheduled on Wednesday, August 29, 6:30 p.m., at First United Methodist Church (1020 S. Beretania Street, Honolulu). Talkstory Project Addresses Domestic Violence
Leeward O'ahu residents of Filipino descent are needed for a "Talkstory" group to address the problem of domestic violence. Participants in the project, sponsored by the Office of Women's Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will receive a $20 stipend and must attend all three sessions on September 19, 26 and October 3.
