2016 Educator Showcase

Submit a Poster Abstract TODAY!

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) and Georgia Tech's Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC), and the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT) know that Georgia educators are using technology in amazing ways to inspire and engage students. Each year STEM@GTRI and partners CEISMC and IPaT hosts an evening of innovation that brings together some of the most original, pioneering, and novel uses of instructional technology across Georgia. Here is your chance to be part of the celebration and share what's happening in your class!

The fourth annual Educator Showcase will celebrate educators' innovation by highlighting bold unique uses of technology that put students and learning first. STEM@GTRI, CEISMC, and IPaT will host the 2016 Educator Showcase during the May Explorers' Guild meeting on Thursday, May 12, 2016. The showcase will include a panel discussion, interactive poster session, and ongoing opportunities that will empower educators and transform learning. This is the perfect place to connect with peers, share strategies, and expand professional networks. This event helps support the missions of STEM@GTRI, CEISMC, and IPaT that focus on helping acquire and leverage instructional technology resources for Georgia's classrooms, schools, and districts, share best practices, and establish a community of learners.

So what's going on in your classroom?

If you are interested in applying for the poster session, the process is simple. Just follow the three steps in the guidelines below. If your abstract is chosen by a selection committee of Georgia Tech faculty, you will create a poster that we will professionally print. You may keep it after the event, take it back to school, and continue to use it at other conferences and presentations to highlight the innovation!

We look forward to your poster abstract submissions, working with you to create your professional poster, and seeing you at the event in May!

Guidelines for Poster Abstract Submission:

Go to the online form: www.f3program.org/2016-educator-showcase-submission-form
