"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." — Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)
Our struggle is no different today. Now, as then, it is persistence that succeeds.
The veracity of Gandhi's proverb was confirmed when, last Friday, C-SPAN didn't "ignore" or "laugh at" or "fight" us. Instead, it appeared to surrender to the will of hundreds of brave and tireless callers — who, over the course of a year, directed unrelentingly questions to guests about the most enigmatic building collapse of all time, WTC Building 7 — by inviting me on to its Washington Journal program to present to millions of viewers the facts about September 11, 2001. We might call that a "win!"
It was an historical leap forward for 9/11 Truth. Over a year's worth of heavy lifting by you, our dedicated volunteers and activists who make calls, write letters, and donate time and money generously, allowed us to articulate our crucial message to a vast segment of the population who regard mainstream news outlets as the only credible source of information and who have been misled by these very news outlets to believe that anyone who questions the events of 9/11 is a "conspiracy theorist." Yes, this was a huge accomplishment!
I wish we could say we're done.
Not yet. While it's true that some mainstream media are beginning to show responsibility with fair and balanced reporting on this subject, others, such as The New York Times — which, believe it or not, many Americans regard as a pillar of credibility — are still uttering such nonsense as, "We've not found any evidence so far to suggest that the building collapses were caused by anything other than the two airplanes." (This qualifies as "ignoring" us.)
In response, we're asking each of you, our only supporters, to help us launch our keynote 13th Anniversary ReThink911 billboard project.
With your financial support, this 29' tall x 13' wide billboard — which features the explosive destruction of the North Tower along with our rebuke to New York Times chief correspondent David Sanger's outrageous comment last year — will stand directly outside The New York Times Building throughout the entire month of September. Of course, AE911Truth has been relentless in providing the Times' senior staff directly with the evidence.
Expected to be seen by 100,000 people each day, this towering monolith is sure to get the attention we all know it deserves. But it can't go up and be seen without your immediate support.
Our C-SPAN victory has shown us that we and our supporters are ever enduring. Help us build the required momentum by generously donating to a critically important 9/11 anniversary project, which is designed to be a daily embarrassing exposure to these prominent journalists and their corporate media employer of the truth of what really happened at the World Trade Center.
For the nearly 3,000 victims, for their families, and for the truth, let's make 2014 the year we can say, "They ignored us, they laughed at us, they fought us, and we won."
Thank you for your support,
