Having never been much of a celebrity chef groupie, I broke all my rules last month. Afterall, the international chefs that were flown in for the South Pacific Food & Wine Festival were a core focus of the event.

I gushed over Manu Feildel, I was seduced by Willie Harcourt-Cooze's passion for chocolate and cacao, and I almost even ran up to Robert Oliver for an autograph on his coobook. It's a shame his cookbook was sold out, I must get my hand on it! (His book, Me'a Kai features the cuisine of six South Pacific island nations, Tonga, Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Cook Islands and was the winner of the Best Cookbook Of The Year at the 2010 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards)

Aside from Fiji, highlights in the last few weeks also include:

I'm off to Malaysia tomorrow thanks to AirAsia X's cheap $99 airfares but blog posts will magically appear on the blog while I'm away ;)
