This Week at Three Cat Thursdays
Join us for a special evening with Eric Lane Barnes!
On September 13th, Three Cat Thursdays' New Work Night will present a rare Chicago performance by the talented composer Jeff Award Winning composer Eric Lane Barnes. He is kicking off our NEW WORKS night. He is joined by Rob Dorn and the hysterical Tina Gluschenko. They will sing a bunch of new songs he has written in the last couple years. Very funny. This one is a DO NOT MISS show. We have no idea when Eric will be back in town. (He is living in Seattle and is the associate music director of the Seattle Gay Men's Chorus.)
The show is only $10 at The Gorilla Tango Theatre, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago... a cutting edge cool little store front theatre that is relatively new... (Yay! A new space!!!) and the show is at 8PM. And it's only an hour long.
Three Cat Media at Fine Arts Building Open House
Join us for wine, appetizers, and MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC
Three Cat Media will be participating in September's Fine Arts Building Open House.
The Fine Arts Building, an historic artist’s haven since 1898, continues to draw local inspiration. Over fifty artists have recently flocked to one of the few remaining Chicago buildings designed specifically for working artists. On the Friday, September 14th the public is invited to tour ten stories of this National Landmark from 4:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and visit individual working studios and galleries. Four galleries and over fifteen artists’ studios will be featured as FAB Studios, a flexible collaborative collective that will cyclically highlight the wealth of visual and performing arts talent resident in the Fine Arts Building for the public on the Second Friday of every month.
Three Cat Media's studio - SUITE 418 - will be open for great music, with vocalist Rob Dorn, and delicious food and wine. Plus, we always have a blast.
