Fall at the Three Cat Education

After such an amazing summer, we are so excited to announce our two new fall programs.  At the Skokie Theatre,  our students will be working on "The Frog Princess".  Auditions are this weekend!  Be sure to reserve your audition timeslot.   At the Menomonee Club,  our students will be working on "Cinderella".   We will also be offering two great classes Sketch Comedy and Broadway Bound.

Three Cat Education is thrilled to announce our new programing for the coming Fall of 2011.    At our Skokie Theatre location, we will be presenting a modern retelling of a traditional story: The Frog Prince. "The Frog Princess" has our actors exploring what it means to find their true friends and their true selves. This production features original songs by composer Ric Brutnall and results in final performances on November 12 & 19th.

Auditions will be held on September 10th and 11th at the Skokie Theatre.

Tuition: $250
Ticket Price: $15 (Kids 12 and under are FREE!!!)

"Cinderella", Sketch Comedy, and Broadway Bound
at the Menomonee Club



The latest addition to our Three Cat Education program is our new partnership with the Menomonee Club in Chicago.   We will be offering a fall production of our original musical "Cinderella" (first presented in Skokie in the spring) for kids in grades SK to 5.  We will also be offering to classes "Broadway Bound" and "Sketch Comedy Improv" both for grades 6 to 8.

Three Cat Productions Presents: Cinderella | Grades: SK-5 - Register Online
Join Cindy and her friends as a sleepover gone wrong results in this original but traditional retelling of the Cinderella story. This production features original songs by composer Ric Brutnall and results in final performances December 16-18 in Menomonee’s Fasseas Whitebox Theatre. Theatre is both fun and educational, and teaches kids to think creatively and intuitively. Auditions are the first day of class, and each child’s individual talents are used to create a production that is uniquely theirs. Children must commit to the full session and limit absences to 2. Participation in tech and dress rehearsals (Fri and Sat casts only) is mandatory. Cinderella is directed by Jacque Lueken.

Sketch Comedy Improv | Grades: 6-8

Have you ever wanted to get up on a stage and show your family and friends just how funny you can be? In this class kids will form their own comedy troupe, create characters, write original sketches, and play improv games (geared toward both the creation of characters and performance). The class will culminate in a final showcase that will take place at The Menomonee Club on the final day of class. Taught by Jacque Lueken.

Ever wonder if you have what it takes to make it on Broadway? In this class, Three Cat Education challenges students to build skills in acting, singing, and dance through scene work, vocal coaching, and choreography. Sign up now to see if you can build the skills to truly become a triple threat! *This class will include a final showcase at The Menomonee Club on the final day of class.
