Holy Trinity 101 monthly Sunday School class is a great place for newcomers, new members, and long-time members alike to connect for authentic faith conversation and to learn how people at Holy Trinity practice “an inward journey of faith and an outward journey of service.” This Sunday Father David Umphlett will lead us in an Instructive Eucharist as we explore the rich meanings of Episcopal worship. For more information, contact Rev. Mark Lile-King at mark@holy-trinity.com.

Celebration Of New Ministry Service

Please plan to be a part of the Celebration of New Ministry on Saturday, October 23, at 5:30 p.m. in the church as we formally welcome
David Umphlett as Rector.

The Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of North Carolina, will preside as the parish celebrates the covenant the Holy Trinity community makes with a new Rector to support each other and carry out God’s work together. The service includes the Eucharist and an induction ceremony in which the Bishop, representatives of the congregation, and representatives of the diocesan clergy present symbolic gifts to the new minister. The preacher will be the Rev. Lloyd A. Lewis, Jr., Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of New Testament at Virginia Theological Seminary.

After the service, you’re invited to the Patterson Terrace for light refreshments and to toast our new Rector.

Trunk or Treat - We need 23 more trunks!

It’s that time again! Please sign up to decorate a trunk and provide treats at our Trunk or Treat extravaganza October 27 from 6 - 7 p.m. in the back parking lot. Dinner will be served beginning at 5 p.m. on the Patterson Terrace. You need to register in order to have dinner. We have 7 trunks so far.
