Holy Trinity Pilgrimage To The Holy Land

Join Fr. Umphlett and his guide friend of eleven years, Canon Iyad Qumri, on a journey in the steps of Jesus. This pilgrimage will be a mixture of bus rides and short walks. You’ll need to be able to walk at least two miles without difficulty on uneven terrain. We are limiting the size of the group to twenty people. After this pilgrimage and time spent with a people who have been Christian since the day of Pentecost, you will never read the Bible the same way again, guaranteed!

Trip dates are October 8-19, 2021. The trip cost does not include airfare. We will offer the opportunity for group travel or independent travel. The total land cost will be what is listed, plus $200 per person for tips, incidentals, and a donation to the Diocese of Jerusalem institution that we will visit.

Please email David with your interest at david@holy-trinity.comDeposits are due July 8. This is obviously a short turn-around time, but we’ve been holding this pilgrimage on our books since last fall, hoping the pandemic would abate enough to do so. It has, so we’re moving forward.
Note: The state of Israel requires all visitors to be vaccinated.

Spotlight on Julie Buie,
Holy Trinity Day School Director

I first started as interim co-director in summer of 2009 and became director in spring 2011. So I have been in the position at least 10 years (and really 12 years). However, I am fine just saying that I am celebrating 10 years as director.
Almost anyone who has been affiliated with the school shares stories and experiences that reflect the essence of the school of gratitude, joy, praise and community.  I love the nurturing environment created by the teachers as well as the many traditions that help connect the generations of families served. I enjoy welcoming new faces and families to Holy Trinity. I love my job and feel very fortunate to be a part of the Family Ministries. A highlight of our week is our weekly chapel service. Everyday is filled with joy and adventure.

Celebrations and Memorials

We pray for the soul of Mark Cole (6/21), brother-in-law of Hattie and John Aderholdt.
