Come To Coffee Hour This Sunday

There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there’s one more free breakfast at Holy Trinity! This Sunday, July 4, join us on the Patterson Terrace after the 9 a.m. service or before the 11 a.m. service for doughnuts and Green Bean Coffee served by a group of Holy Trinity pilgrims. Live music will be provided by local pianist Amanda Matthews. Music for summer coffee hours is underwritten by several parishioners.

Last week there were nearly 100 people getting reconnected at the coffee hour. You can join the fun every Sunday this summer. Starting next week there will be a nominal fee for the coffee hour. Hope abounds at Holy Trinity breakfasts!

Casserole Ministry

From Audra Abt, Vicar, Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit:
"We've had more people asking to not receive the prepared meals so that we're down to 60 people. In some ways, this is good news, as the families (at least those receiving prepared food) are feeling a little more stable in their income and food situations."
In response to this feedback, we have adjusted the amount of casseroles needed in the sign-up. Click here to learn more or to sign up.

There is an ongoing need for non-prepared food and supplies, if you would like to contribute in a way that does not require cooking. Needed items:
Diapers size 6 (preferably broken down and saran wrapped in packs of 20)
Baby Wipes
Pasta Sauce
Pasta
Diced Tomatoes
Dried Beans

Feel free to drop off these items on Thursday, July 20 between 8 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on the Terrace or in the back parking lot from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. (someone will be there to receive them).
Hope Abounds in every phase of the Casserole Ministry!

Spotlight on Holy Trinity Communications
by Katie Sopcik, Communications Director

We have sought to improve Holy Trinity's reach electronically during this challenging year with a redesigned ePistle, a Youtube channel, Lenten devotional emails, and interactive publications. The new ePistle was released in March with a clean design featuring more videos and photos and has 44% growth in subscriber’s engagement this year. Our website has been streamlined and is the information hub to which all HT communications reference. This past month we had 1.6K users visit our site (an increase from last month of 6.6%), with 2.2k sessions. We launched a convenient morning email during Lent this year, Daily Faith Journey. Our new Holy Trinity YouTube Channel where people can subscribe, watch services, and donate has over 500 subscribers, and in the last year there has been 25,000 views and 4,200 watch hours.

On the creative side of my job, we have collaborated with members to increase awareness and engagement throughout the church through a number of creative and interactive projects. I have enjoyed designing the Hope Abounds banners and signs, the Annual Campaign packet, and publications such as the monthly Get Connected and the quarterly Parish Post. 25 Publications have been electronically published since late 2019 and are widely read with over 7,100 views and a total read time of 409 hours. Hope Abounds at Holy Trinity! I am celebrating 5 happy years on staff this fall, and I am grateful for the amazing and considerate staff and HT members I get to work with. I love creating the ePistle for you each week. Reach out to me anytime at katie@holy-trinity.com.
