Spring Equinox Walk this Sunday, 4 p.m.

We invite you to walk this path of the heart in community as we celebrate a new season. There will be a brief blessing, followed by uninterrupted walking and music. Weather permitting.

Music Notes

At the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services, Wesley McCleary-Small sings Burleigh's I Couldn't Hear Nobody Pray. At the 11:15 service, the Chancel Choir sings the Kyrie from Fauré's Requiem, a favorite of Richard Cox. During his service at Holy Trinity, the Fauré setting of the Requiem Mass is the one Richard programmed most often. Wesley and David serve as Assistant Conductors in the Music Ministry of Holy Trinity.

Hope IS in Action as Holy Trinity Hosts UVA Students

This past Thursday evening, Holy Trinity hosted 20 UVA students from the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship. The students spent their spring break working with Community Housing Solutions remodeling the homes of two local neighbors. Following the group’s Thursday afternoon tour of the International Civil Rights Center & Museum, Holy Trinity Labyrinth Keepers hosted a meditative walk for the students to process their museum experience. After being formally welcomed by Holy Trinity Hoos, the Outreach Commission graciously hosted and served a delicious dinner. Holy Trinity’s own Linda Brown followed with a powerful recounting of her life as a civil rights activist and engaged the students in deeply meaningful conversation about becoming antiracists. AND, many generous Holy Trinity friends stepped forward to fully pay all expenses to host the UVA servants. Thanks be to God for your faithful Christian service and generosity!

Do you work with a group that the Holy Trinity community can partner with to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world? Let’s talk! Please contact Rev. Mark Lile-King at mark@holy-trinity.com.
