Youth Sunday

Youth Sunday, Senior Recognition & the Price Scholarship

Youth Sunday will be celebrated this Sunday, May 23 at both the 9 and 11 a.m. services with youth serving as ushers, acolytes, lectors, and intercessors. Graduating high school seniors will be recognized at the 11 am service, and the 2021 recipient of the Price scholarship will be awarded. After a year away due to COVID, this will be a great opportunity for the parish to recognize the special role of youth ministry at Holy Trinity.

Featured Photos: Housing Greensboro

Last Saturday thirteen Holy Trinity housing saints in partnership with Community Housing Solutions worked all day replacing flooring, clearing yard waste, and removing house clutter in preparation for major home repairs. A big thank you to everyone who helped! View a thank you card from Community Housing Solutions. Please pray for Mr. Jarvis and for all those who will be working on his home. Holy Trinity's ministry and work will ensure that Mr. Jarvis continues living in a home that's been owned for decades by his family and to pass down wealth to the next generation.

We offer deep gratitude for the ministry and work of these faithful servants:
Bruce Bunce, Kim Bunce, Cameron Cooke, Ty Daurity, Barbara Halbert, Charlotte Janke, Mike Johnson, Mark Lile-King, Philip Link, Anthony Moorer, B.T. Neale, Ken Sisk, Jay Scott, Ben Thomas

Spotlight on Marjorie Donnelly, Christian Formation Director

Marjorie has creatively found new ways to keep young families engaged with Holy Trinity this year. Events held with young families amid Covid protocols is not always easy to coordinate, and yet family activities such as movie night, family bingo, and a carefully coordinated Christmas pageant have been joyfully full this year. A Family Ministries Facebook page was launched to support families and bring the children of Holy Trinity 'together" for virtual Sunday School sessions with crafts, music, and fun. Marjorie, we are grateful for your loving and creative work for our young families. Marjorie just celebrated 9 years at Holy Trinity this past February!
